A Walk in My Neighborhood

During COVID, we found a way to make live theater. A Walk in My Neighborhood is a one-on-one, pandemic audio walk through Katie’s neighborhood of Atwater Village. The walk wove together personal storytelling, the history of Los Angeles, and investigated how we belong to the land on which we live. The walk featured socially distant, live performances, including a violin solo and a surprise appearance from the creator, who waved to them from Griffith Park across the 5 freeway.
